Stepping Stones to Volunteering Course (14 – 28 Nov’14) – apply now

The ‘Stepping Stones to Volunteering’ training course

This course, like all Stepping Stones courses, is for people who themselves experience mental health problems. The course will cover everything you will need to know to volunteer with Mind and aims to be fun with lots of practical exercises to help you to learn.  We will provide you with the Mind in Harrow Volunteering Handbook which contains all our policies and procedures to support you as a volunteer.

The course will take place at a venue in central Harrow over three Fridays, starting on 14th November 2014 and finishing on 28th November 2014.  The time for each session is 9.30am – 4.30pm, including a 1 hour break for lunch (provided by Mind).

There is a charge of £15 for attendance at the course (but £5 is returned to anyone who attends through to the final session).
