Bell Farm Christian Centre

Share:

Bell Farm Christian Centre is a Christian Church based in the middle of the Bell Farm Estate in West Drayton, Middlesex.

Bell Farm and its neighbouring estates house around 10-11,000 people in a disadvantaged area of outer London on the doorstep of Heathrow airport.  When many agencies withdrew from the neighbourhood during the 90s due to high levels of crime, particularly among young people, Bell Farm Christian Centre maintained its presence and work on behalf of local people.  Now, it has become the fulcrum for the community’s life, playing a key role in renewal and development.

Bell Farm Christian Centre is always in need of additional volunteers and funding.

In particular, at present, we need the following volunteers:

Volunteers to help with our older persons’ lunch and social club

Volunteers to help lead other activities for older persons

A volunteer cook for our older persons’ lunch and social club

Volunteer administrator

Volunteer fundraiser who will submit applications to grant making trusts

Our website is www.bfcc.org.uk

The project for which we are currently in need of funds is our building extension. This is a three phase project. £80,000 has been raised towards the first phase but we urgently need an additional £40,000 to enable phase one to go ahead.

We also need revenue funding for our very popular Advice Information and Care Service which supported over 1,600 people who were in need last year, with issues such as benefits, housing and debt.
