Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity – Harefield Hospital Centenary

2015 marks the 100th anniversary since Harefield Hospital was set up to treat wounded Australian service personnel during World War I.

Now, the hospital treats thousands of people a year suffering from a range of heart and lung diseases.

To celebrate the centenary, Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity are organising a series of specially themed events and launching a new Harefield Centenary Appeal to help contribute to the long-term rebuilding of the hospital.

But, we need your help to make sure the centenary year is a success –helping the Charity raise awareness of the hospital’s great work and funds to build a state-of-the-art new hospital for treating the next generations of patients with heart and lung disease.

How can you help?

We need volunteers who can help us through:

  • selling tickets for centenary events
  • joining a project group
  • securing sponsors
  • sourcing raffle and auction prizes
  • setting up events
  • manning a stall
